I'm Sumit Kumar, a data-driven problem solver with experience in building large-scale ETL systems, developing real-time data pipelines, and working with high-impact data products across FinTech and cybersecurity domains. Currently, I work as a Machine Learning Engineer at Gen Digital, where I focus on unified transaction normalization, data lake design and actively exploring machine learning solutions to address challenges in cybersecurity and financial wellness domains. This includes: – Researching scalable architectures for real-time anomaly detection and fraud prevention on cloud platforms – Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align ML strategies with business objectives I previously worked at TCS on critical PayPal systems, leading optimizations in internal frameworks and improving transaction processing logic. I enjoy designing resilient data architectures, automating pipelines with Airflow, and integrating ML models into production workflows. I’m well-versed in Python, PySpark, SQL, AWS, GCP, and several orchestration and data warehousing tools. I value clarity in execution, good code, and solving real business problems through data and engineering.
